8pieces cob, yellowtail, snoek etc
3 tomatoes
10ml crushed garlic
10ml chillie powder
5ml turmeric
5ml salt or to taste
¼ cup coconut milk
5 curry leaves
¼ cup fresh dhunya, finely chopped
3Tbs oil
¾ cup water
1Tbs lemon juice
Wash and drain fish. Liquidize tomato, spices, coconut milk and water. In a saucepan, slightly brown curry leaves in oil or until aromatic.. Add tomato mixture. Let simmer until for 15min or until thickened. Place fish in saucepan and let simmer for 10min or until fish is cooked. Garnish with chopped dhunia. Serve with rice.
