Marinated Spare Ribs

80ml chilli sauce

80ml tomato sauce

60ml Worcestershire sauce

10ml lemon juice

5ml Tabasco sauce

50ml brown sugar

10ml paprika

salt and ground pepper to taste

oil as required

1kg spare ribs


Combine sauces, vinegar, sugar and spices in a jug.
Place ribs in a shallow dish and pour marinade over.
Cover and leave to marinate for a couple of hours or overnight.
Drain ribs over medium bowl, reserving marinade.
Place ribs on a wire rack, over a baking dish.
Bake uncovered in moderate oven for about 1hour or until brown, brushing with their reserved marinade during cooking.
Serve with baked potatoes.
